About the Museum:

The Frostburg State University Planetarium serves both the university community and the residents of Western Maryland, offering free public programs on campus and in local schools. The Planetarium serves as a resource for astronomy information, offering a number of services to keep area residents informed about sky events including weekly columns in local newspapers and a radio show on the University radio station, WFWM.

Special Programs:

The planetarium offers Free shows on Sundays at 4:00pm and 7:00pm, except on holiday weekends. Following these programs are tours of the Science Discovery Center at about 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. with displays of animals (look like they’re still alive) from 5 continents.
